A Seneca, South Carolina home owner was surprised Saturday afternoon by a lightning strike which hit his home. Unfortunately, the lightning appears to have attached to the power meter next to his parked Toyota. The strike created an explosion underneath the car which flipped the car onto its roof. The town Conneaut, Ohio has been without its wind turbine since August when a lightning strike damaged on of the blades. The turbine was used to power the town’s waste treatment plant.
